INTERESTED IN THE CATHOLIC FAITH?

As Catholics, we believe that personal faith in Jesus Christ in the Church is always a gift which is offered from God to an individual who is searching for the truth about life and is open to God’s loving invitation.

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the process by which an adult (or children over the age of 7) come to learn about and experience the Christian life and Catholic traditions and teachings.  There are four periods of instruction, which include:  prayer, instruction, discernment (reflection), and formation. These are followed by the celebration of the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation and First Eucharist), which take place at the Easter Vigil Mass, where the individuals are received into the Catholic Church.
